Donation Refund Policy
Namadhari Education and Social Trust (NEST) is committed to ensuring fair and transparent processing of requests for refunds of donations, especially as digital payments become more common. We expect all donors to exercise due care and diligence while making donations. However, we also recognize that donations may sometimes be made erroneously, or donors may change their minds.
NEST will review each refund request on a case-by-case basis and will strive to accommodate refunds when appropriate. We may request additional information or documentation to process your request, and we ask for your cooperation in this regard.
Please note that NEST is not obligated to provide refunds and may, at its discretion, deny requests, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.
Requesting a Refund:
If you would like your donation to NEST to be refunded, please follow these steps:
Submit a Written Request:
Your request must be made in writing or via email and must reach us within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of donation. Refunds will be initiated within 3 business days to the donor post approval.
Include the Following Details:
Date of Donation: The date when the donation was made.
Donation Amount: The exact amount donated.
Cheque/Draft Donation: Provide the Cheque/Draft number if applicable.
Credit Card Donation: Provide the last 4 digits of your Credit Card number.
Online Donation: Provide the Donation-ID if the donation was made online.
